About JETAA

JETAA is a voluntary organisation that provides a network for the alumni of the Japan Exchange and Teaching Programme. We help promote the programme and its aims and continue to further the case of Anglo-Japanese relations in the UK.

Chapters

Currently there are 6 JETAA chapters in the UK; Midlands, London, North West, Northern Ireland, Scotland and Wales.

Use the links of the right hand side of this page to find out more about individual chapters, the national committee as well as our nominated charity, Room to Read.

If you live somewhere not mentioned here, by default, your area is covered by the London chapter. Whichever is your local chapter, you are invited to all events in all of the UK chapters. If you register with local chapters you will also be kept more closely in touch with events in that region.

Also take a look on Facebook groups to see what your local chapters are up to!

Fledgling Chapters:

If you would like to know more about getting a new chapter going in your area please contact us at info@jetaa.org.uk
We are particularly keen to encourage chapters in the West Country, South Central England, the North East (Yorkshires, Humberside, Lincolnshire, Notts) and East England

We are in the process of setting up a new chapter in the South East (Kent, Surrey, East & West Sussex.) Please get in touch if you would like to be involved.
