About Us
JETAA Wales is primarily a social network connecting ex-JETS in the Wales area and providing information and support. We run a series of social activities throughout the year and promote Japan, Japanese culture and the JET Programme. We also aim to strengthen ties between ex-JET participants and Japanese people living in Wales.
Our typical programme of annual events includes a walking event, summer picnic, bonenkai and trips to Japanese related cultural performances in South Wales.

Latest News
Our last event in May 2011 was a sponsored walk along the stunning Glamorganshire coastline. The event was in support of Global Giving's Japan Tsunami campaign. As of 30th May 2011, we had raised a total of £745. It is not too late to donate - we have a Just Giving page set up for donations. A huge arigatou to all of those who participated and donated, your generous contributions are greatly appreciated!
Our next event will be our pre-departure picnic. It will take place on Sunday 24th July at Bute Park in Cardiff. All welcome - please bring something to sit on, some food to share. Please bring friends and family along too. More information is availabel on our events page here.
