Networking opportunities provided by JETAA are one of the key benefits of becoming a member. Alumni of the JET programme have gone on to work in a wide range of professions: teaching, finance, law, media, public sector, you name it, there are probably JETs working there!
JET Connect
We hold careers networking evenings called JET Connect in London every year. These have proved extremely popular with our members as it provides a chance to find out what opportunities are out there for ex-JETs, whether you are just starting out, established in your career or looking for a change.
The last JET Connect event was on 3 March 2010 and was held at KPMG in London.
We are planning the next JET Connect event and will post more details here as soon as possible.
JET Mentors
We are keen to establish a mentoring programme for ex-JETs who are established in their careers to share their expertise with those who are just starting out or wish to make a change.
Until this programme is formally in place, we would like to suggest that you use the forum on this website to put out a request for advice from other ex-JETs, highlighting which career you are interested in pursuing.
