Anyone care to join us for a hanami picnic in Cannon Hill Park, Birmingham, 12.30 this Saturday (17th April)? The forecast is fine, and there's some nice blossom in the area between the greehouses and the cafe (by Russell Road, close to the Warwickshire County cricket ground) so we'll be somewhere around there.
Please bring your own food/drink, ideally Japanese food that we can all share, but anything is OK - we appreciate that it's short notice! You might want to bring something to sit on too.
You might also like to stay on afterwards and visit the Birmingham Nature Centre on Pershore Road, on the far side of the park from where we'll be meeting up.
