    Studio Ghibli movie: Ponyo in MCR

    Studio Ghibli, creators of Spirited Away, Totoro and many others have released a new movie called Ponyo. Reviews sound a bit like "Little Mermaid" and will no doubt be another colorful and magical creation.

    Cornerhouse Manchester will be showing this film for two weeks starting 12 February. There will be a group of us going to see the movie on Saturday 13 February for the 13:50 show. We will meet in the cafe at 13:20. You can't miss us, there will be 3 Japanese women and 2 gaijin (hee hee, just joking, 2 Brits). If you'd like to join us for this showing, please look for us in the Cornerhouse cafe. No worries about getting in touch, but if we know you're coming, we'll keep an eye out for you!

    Ponyo will be showing 4 times a day, except Monday, for TWO WEEKS ONLY! Yes, it's already out on DVD, but come and see it on the big screen with us!
