Police Checks

I need a police check from Japan for a job back here in the UK, and have been told that I have to go through a two-month process involving two 3-hour trips to London in order to get it. Anyone know of a quicker solution? I only need the most basic of checks... |

Hi Martyn, I had to get police checks last year too. I had to go to the Japanese embassy in London to get a fingerprint form, then go to Scotland Yard to get my fingerprints done, then go back to the embassy to submit my fingerprints. I had to wait about 2-3 months to get my police certificate from Japan. It's a pain but relatively straighforward process!! |
