Advertising or Media Work Experience in Japan

I'm an undergraduate about to take my year out in Japan, and want to try to get some relevant work experience while I'm out there, specifically in advertising or media. Unfortunately, I don't have any contacts in these industries, so this is a request to anyone, in the UK or Japan, who works in advertising or media or has any contacts who do, to get in touch, just to give me a little advice!
