The team at JETAA Scotland present "Japanese Language" for members in Glasgow and Edinburgh.

In Edinburgh, a new club has been formed by keen JETAA members. Run by volunteers and completely free to attend, Japanese Study Club will be run on Fridays from this week (Friday 12th September) until Christmas, 6pm-8pm at "Platform 5" in Edinburgh. Native Japanese Teachers and Japanese Language resources are available and all learners are welcome to attend...Students of Japanese Language, JETs-to-be, Ex-JETs, friends of JETs...Please email scotlandevents@jetaa.org.uk for more details.

Glasgow lesson are currently under discussion and will be organised for either a late 2014 Autumn term or the Winter term in early 2015. Please email scotlandevents@jetaa.org.uk to register your interest.

Edinburgh lessons have been very popular and so this term, two courses have been arranged: 7pm in Stockbridge, Edinburgh, from Tuesday 30th September (Conversation/JLPT) and from Monday 6th October (Culture focus). Each course will run for six weeks. There is a 4 student minimum per course for them to run and numbers will not exceed 10 students - so first come first served. Each lesson will be 1 hour 40 minutes in duration.

This Tuesday, 7pm class will include some JLPT study, conversation and homework and will incorporate Japanese cooking and a Japanese Language film.

“ú–{ŒêƒNƒ‰ƒX - 2 - Culture: ŒŽ—j“ú,7Žž
Starting date: 10ŒŽ6“ú
This Monday, 7pm class will incorporate the Japanese Arts. Students will study Japanese whilst learning about the culture of Japan through such arts as the Kimono and Tea Ceremony.

Each course costs £40 for 6 classes. Student may attend one course or both courses. (£20 deposit per course secures place)
