The JETAAUK AGM took place on the 25th and 26th February at the Japan Local Government Centre in London. This year we welcomed new members who had seen the recent newsletter from JETAA calling for more committee members and we also said goodbye to one of our long-standing volunteers Jess Brown, who has been involved in JETAA for the last 9 years. Details of the UK committee can be found here
Items discussed included communications, engaging more members and key JETAA events including the 30th Year Anniversary. We got to find out about what JETAA chapters around the country are doing and we also did some filming for a short JETAA promo video.
We had dinner on the Saturday evening with representatives from the Embassy and JLGC (CLAIR) London.
Thank you to all who gave up their time to come to this event and help to make JETAA so active within the UK.
