    Book of Condolence

    A book of condolence for the victims of the Tohoku-Pacific Ocean Earthquake, which took place on Friday 11th March 2011, is now open at the Embassy of Japan in London and in the Consulate General of Japan in Edinburgh.

    You may sign the book from Wednesday 16 March to Wednesday 23 March between 09:30 and 17:30, including Saturday 19th and Sunday 20th, at the Embassy of Japan. Please bring some form of photographic identification (such as a passport or a driving licence).

    If you are unable to come to the Japanese Embassy in person please leave a message on our Forum. JETAA will take all messages to the Embassy.

    A Book of Condolence will be open for signing at the Consulate General of Japan in Edinburgh from Wednesday 16th March to Wednesday 23rd March (excluding Saturday and Sunday) between 9:30am-12:30pm and 2:00pm-4:30pm.
