British JET Alumni are amongst 20 former programme participants who have been selected to visit their former assignments in Iwate, Miyagi and Fukushima prefectures. The Mainichi Daily news reports that first participants from the UK, Australia, Canada and the USA arrived for a week-long placement at the end of July. The scheme run by the Ministry of Foreign Affairs and Japanese Tourism Agency will see Alumni spened time in their former placement towns in north-eastern Japan. The participants of the scheme will be blogging and writing articles about their experiences. http://mdn.mainichi.jp/mdnnews/news/20110729p2g00m0dm010000c.html
