The Japanese Society of Edinburgh University will be conducting a street collection in the city centre on Sunday 20th March from 11am-5pm (to be confirmed). If you wish to participate, please meet in front of St. Giles' Cathedral, Edinburgh at 10am sharp. As for now, our application said we will have 50 participants, but if the number of participants exceeds, we will try our best to fit everybody in as we appreciate that many people would like to be part of this effort.

We will give you a briefing, give you buckets and containers for donations and assign you to different areas of the city centre (i.e. Princes Street, Old Town, Mound, etc).

Dress Code: Anything Japanese - national dress, costumes (pokemon, disney characters, etc), red & white clothing .. anything that is fun and could bring attention would be perfect.

Any queries, please do not hesitate to contact us.

    Ayumi Tomari
Edinburgh University Japanese Society President 10/11
