This year, the Japanese Language Proficiency Test (JLPT) is going to be held twice a year, with an extra test in the summer on Sunday the 3rd of July 2011. Please be aware that there are only a limited number of places, so apply as soon as you can.

Online application and payment will be available from Monday 7th March 2011, when the JLPT office opens at SOAS.

The JLPT is an internationally recognised qualification for non-native speakers, sponsored by the Japan Foundation and the Japan Educational Exchanges and Services. In the UK the test is administered by SOAS Language Centre, University of London, on behalf of the Japan Foundation. For more information, please click on the links above.
