Looking for JET in Ishinomaki and Sendai

Ganbare Japan UK-Japan Tsunami School Fund is looking for JETs in Ishinomaki and Sendai cities to help them deliver iPads to local schools.

Ganbare Japan has been raising funds by organising Japanese activity events in the East Midlands since April: Japan Day at school, Green Festival, Summer Festival, Sushi evening, etc. One of the objectives of the charity is to encourage and inspire the children/young people in Miyagi Prefecture to continue their education. All their fund raising activities involve promotion of the Japanese culture and the language.

They have delivered two iPads to two schools in Ishinomki City through an ALT teacher, who has recently finished the contract and went home.

The charity will support schools for their English learning programmes by using an interactive iPads given to them.
