Interested in reconnecting with your JET “hometown” as well as furthering links and promoting this region of Japan back home? CLAIR has recently announced the exciting "Satogaeri (hometown) Project" which is inviting former JETs to return to their former work places in Japan, November 2015. Successful applicants will be expected to submit a plan of exchange activities at their JET hometown and take part in information exchanges with CLAIR, JETAA International Members and AJET. They will also be expected to take part in public relations activities with media coverage and be willing to promote their hometown region via social media and blogs.
Applications will only be considered with a recommendation from JETAA UK so before sending your application to CLAIR, please e-mail your outline and details of your JETAA/post Japan JET involvement or any other facilitation of Japan-UK links to email@example.com.
The deadline for applications is the 8th July. Eligibility criteria and details of how to apply are on the attached documents so please read them carefully.
We look forward to hearing from you.
