Gyoza Making Class

Come and join JETAA: London at a specially discounted gyoza making class, with the talented Tokyo cook Kei! For an exclusive, subsidized price of £5 (the class is usually £11 pp), you’ll learn to make gyoza from scratch, as well as meet & chat with other JET alumni from all over!

Kei-san is an experienced host-mother who taught in-person previously, and has adapted her wonderful classes online to continue sharing her skills with everyone around the world. We will learn step by step: kneading, rolling and folding, how to season and mix the filling. There are vegan and gluten free options, and you can also substitute hard-to-find ingredients with local ones.

All you need:

  • A stable internet connection with sound and audio

  • Frying pan, plates

  • Flour, salt, water, cabbage, chives, garlic, ginger or any vegetables or meat

  • Soy sauce, sesame oil, oyster sauce, salt&pepper

  • Corn starch or potatoes starch

  • Bread flour and All purpose flour
