Dorayaki recipe

By OCDP

Dorayaki, a great snack, or possibly a replacement for those who like scotch pancakes for breakfast.

2 large eggs

80 grams of caster sugar

10 grams of honey

100 grams of flour

2 tbsp of baking powder

50 ml of water

First, crack your eggs into a bowl and whisk them together with your sugar.

Once combined, whisk in your honey, baking powder and flour,

add your water to the smooth texture, then stir it in.

Now heat up a pan with either butter or oil, and ladle your mixture onto it. Cook for 30 seconds on each side. Make sure you cook an even number.

Once cooked, you can add your filling. Traditionally, you would use Anko, but custard is becoming more popular. Whipped cream is also often used, or some combination of the 3.
