The amazing Ayae Sensei from NCL Japanese (https://www.ncl-japanese.co.uk/) will guide you in learning basic Japanese language skills that will be helpful for your time in Japan. We will cover topics such as greetings, introductions, basic conversation, and Japanese culture.
Not only will you have an opportunity to meet your fellow departing JETs, we will also be inviting former local JET Programme participants to join us after the class to get some tips and recommendations about JET!
We hope you will take advantage of this opportunity to learn some basic Japanese language skills before you depart for Japan. Learning Japanese will help you make friends, communicate with your students, and experience Japanese culture more fully.
